Perfect Milan Self-Guided Walking Tour
This is our self-guided walking tour of Milan — a budget-friendly map with the core things to visit.
When we first visited Milan, we were surprised to find out how small this well-known international city was. It only takes about two hours to walk from one end of central Milan to the other!
So this walking tour can be completed in one day, but we suggest you break it up into two days if you don’t want to rush.
Generally, this tour is geared towards people who like visiting historical landmarks and museums and learning about history (one of the main reasons people would visit Italy). It doesn’t go over any shopping experiences. If you’re into fashion (which would be another excellent reason to specifically visit Milan), then look elsewhere.
A special note — If you love museums, we’d recommend you get the Abbonomento Musei, a museum pass that gives you access to 230 museums across Lombardia. It’s easily worth it.
